The Nai King serves as both symbol and interface, allowing the collective will to communicate with other species and entities that might not comprehend Nailand's unique consciousness structure. It also acts as a focal point during major ceremonial occasions.
While appearing to outsiders as a singular entity with consistent characteristics, the Nai King's appearance and personality subtly shift to reflect the current state of the collective consciousness. These shifts might be imperceptible to non-Nai beings but represent important fluctuations in the society's overall direction and priorities.
